This is the section for making corrections. Here you can post a correction if you find something
wrong with the database. Please be aware that this is not a message board nor is it for your personal comments but meant
as a way to get corrections made in the database. When you make a comment please be very specific and only post one
correction at the time. This could be: "Moat Carps cannot be caught in Qufim Island North" or "Bhefel Marling will
break yew wand". Don't post: "Moat Carps can break yew wand and Bluetails can be caught at Buburimu Peninsula". The reason
for this is that people will vote on you correction and they may not be able to verify both statements at the moment.
So.... only one fact in every post.
So when you come to this page you will see a lot of comments. You will be able to vote yes or no to
a correction. If a correction gets five votes it will be accepted as correct and I will update the database. A "no" vote
will count as two yes votes since if someone can deconfirm something that is usually proof that the fact is wrong.
When you vote feel free to make a comment.
A correction is not final with five votes. If you get five votes on a correction you have made it is not
100% the database will be updated. I know that the system can be abused and I hope that the users of this site are
intelligent enough to not do this. If it is abused and you vote yes to your own corrections just to get the database updated
I will add measures in order to stop this abuse. I hope this will not be neccesary. I will review the corrections and not
update if they are obvious hoaxes. This is a community not your personal playground. That being said I hope you will
enjoy the system I have made and that it will be a good way to keep this database updated.

I recieved this mail the other day and I think it pretty good summons up the question people may have when using this board
so I thought it would be a good idea to include it here along with my own reply.
Not quite sure where to post this so I figured going stright to you was the
best way.
I am quite the avid fisher and sites like your database are invaluable to
me. I like seeing up to date info and try my best to help where I can. Right
now I'm conducting fishing research on the ferry going from Mhara to Al
Zahbi, and back again. Switching lures/rods etc going each way just to see
what I can catch with them.
If this info would be of any use to you I am more then willing to share ^^.
However I don;t know if posting it in the corrections section was the right
thing to do so I figured I would ask here first. just lemme know where to
post this and I will get at it ^^

And the longer answer....
I would love any information I can get about fishing in the new areas. I myself am also trying to get to the new areas as I got the expansion yesterday. As you know I am trying to keep the database as updated as possible and therefore hope that the users of the site, like you, will help me get some of all that information as the task is a bit overwhelming for one person. It is very appreciated everytime I get new data I can enter in the database.
How to do it...
Anytime you come upon something new that you can't see in the database go to comments section and write what happened. To do this click on "Add Correction" and write exactly what you experienced. That could be... "I have caught a black ghost on the new ferry"
Try to keep the corrections as atomic as possible and what that means is that if you have caught a black ghost on the ferry with a Lu Shang's Fishing Rod using Sinking Minnow that is actually three corrections:
Black Ghost can be caught on the ferry
Black Ghost can be caught with Lu Shang's Rod
and
Black Ghost can be caught with Sinking Minnow
I know this may seem like a lot of work but it makes the voting a lot easier. If for example you wrote that "Black ghost can be caugth on the ferry with a Lu Shangs using Sinking Minnow" people would have to do the exact same thing in order to verify the statement but if it is broken in to three corrections people can catch a Black Ghost any where with a Sinking Minnow and confirm one of your statements. Or they could verify that it could be caught on the ferry with any setup they wished to use.
I hope I explained the system and that you will use it in the future. As mentioned above any new data is very much appreciated.
